Who I am.

• Mid-50-something (born 1972).
• Divorced since 2008, widowed since 2016. My “happily ever after” was taken away; my hope isn’t here. I’m also not looking for Spouse No. 3; I’ve blown through my two-spouse limit.
• Twenty-one years of sobriety from pornography/sexual addiction, and counting.
• High-functioning/Type I autistic (Asperger Disorder), OCD, Arrested Development Disorder from being a bully target from the second grade through high school. Had to drop off the medication regimen because of longer-term health concerns.
• Bachelor of Arts cum laude in religion with concentration in pastoral ministry from Southern California College (now Vanguard University of Southern California), but morally disqualified from ministry because of the above; basically, squandered what I was given.
• Disney junkie practically since birth. Grew up near Disneyland, now live next door to Walt Disney World.
• Former Catholic (still respect the liturgy); follower of Jesus since July 1985.

What I do.

• Junior reporting developer (SSRS, TOAD Data Point) and 🫏-of-all-trades with Optum Workers’ Comp & Auto No-Fault (formerly Helios, formerly PMSI). Full-time remote; our office in Tampa was permanently closed not long after the COVID diaspora.
• Music/creative (The Study of Starlight).
• Mosaic Church and Mosaic Church @ WDW (not a partner/member/deacon/elder/&c. because I don’t want the title). Men’s Freedom Group on Monday nights, Disney Cast Member outreach, #uncommonloveatwdw.

Where I am and have been.

• Four Corners area between Clermont and Davenport, Florida, where Lake, Polk, Orange, and Osceola Counties all meet. A few miles due west of Walt Disney World. ~70 miles west of Cape Canaveral, where I like to watch rockets launch.
• Born and raised in Santa Ana, California; lived in Orange, California, before moving to Florida in 2000. Lived in Lakeland (Shepherd Oaks), Plant City, and Tampa (Town ‘n’ Country) before settling in Four Corners south of Clermont in Lake County.

My quirks.

• My written communication skills far exceed my verbal ones. Email is my preferred communication medium over all else, and if asked to speak, I’ve written and rewritten it countless times and rehearsed it over and over until it’s become all but muscle memory.
• If you’re not in my phone’s contacts, my phone will not ring. Period. YOU! SHALL! NOT! RING!
• I don’t accept unannounced/unexpected visitors at my apartment. This is partly because of my job, which involves handling patient health information/personal identifying information that I need to be sure remains secure and out of sight when others are visiting.
